Why didn’t Cleburne TX CPS workers reveal Buddy Cook, 4, had HIV before he was adopted and then suddenly died because no one told his newly-adoptive parents he needed prescription medicines to live?
That’s the question his adoptive parents, David and Angel Cook, their seven other children and a lot of other people want to know, but CPS refuses to answer.
According to the Cooks, the HIV was plainly recorded in his medical records before they even met their son. He had contracted the deadly virus from his biological mother’s many boyfriends who had sexually assaulted the little boy numerous times.
After the mother, who was David Cook’s niece, asked the Cooks to let the little boy live with them, the very first night they noticed cuts and scars across his body, said Angel Cook. They immediately took the boy to an emergency center which then referred them to Cook Children’s Hospital in Ft. Worth,
