So Hollywood movie mogul and Democratic mega-donor Harvey Weinstein now admits he has spent nearly three decades sexually harassing women that worked for him, after this blockbuster New York Times article reported he paid off at least eight women, including “Charmed” and “Scream” actress Rose McGowan.
Its a shame it took so long for women to speak out about this serial sexual harasser. For example, Ashley Judd says he first invited her to his room two decades ago, asking if she would either give him a message or watch him shower. But at least his victims are speaking out now.
In speaking out about her hotel episode, Ms. Judd said in a recent interview, “Women have been talking about Harvey amongst ourselves for a long time, and it’s simply beyond time to have the conversation publicly.”
One has to wonder why the liberal Times chose to publish their report? After all, both the Times and Weinstein are huge supporters of the Democrat Party. No doubt, we’ll learn soon enough.
Weinstein says he’s not happy they published the report. He claims he had a deal with the Times not to reveal all they did. But the newspaper stands behind their report.
